Position Overview:

The Executive Vice President (EVP) is responsible for leading the company's solar operations, ensuring seamless execution of projects while integrating technical sales and business development strategies.

This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and technical acumen to optimize processes, expand market presence, and maintain high-quality project execution. The EVP will play a key role in scaling mySolar's growth, improving profitability, and ensuring we continue to deliver world-class solar energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement scalable operational strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee the execution of solar EPC projects, ensuring timely completion, cost efficiency, and quality assurance.
  • Streamline workflows and engineering processes to enhance profitability and efficiency.
  • Support technical sales, guiding clients through solar system design, feasibility, and financial analysis.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop strategic partnerships and expand market share.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between engineering, procurement, construction, and sales.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to optimize performance.
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement in all operations.
  • Oversee solar system designs, ensuring compliance with grid interconnection and permitting regulations.
  • Provide guidance on solar design software (Aurora) and energy yield analysis.
  • Optimize procurement of solar panels, inverters, and storage systems to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to support operational growth.
  • Implement best practices in inventory management and logistics to prevent project delays.
  • Work closely with the finance team to manage budgets, financial forecasts, and funding strategies.
  • Implement cost-control measures to maximize project profitability and return on investment.
  • Oversee health, safety, and environmental practices across all projects.
  • Stay informed about government policies, incentives, and emerging industry trends.
  • Mentor and develop high-performance teams across technical, operational, and sales functions.
  • Implement training programs to enhance team expertise and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in solar EPC operations, technical sales, or project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in large-scale solar project execution, system design, and business development.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV technology, energy storage, and financial modeling.
  • Experience in supply chain management, contract negotiation, and vendor relations.

· Proficiency in solar PV system design, financial analysis, and grid interconnection.

· Ability to execute multiple projects while optimizing efficiency and cost.

Strong capability to bridge technical expertise with customer needs.

· Understanding of solar energy laws, incentives, and permitting processes.

· Exceptional ability to engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
