Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
Location: Glenburnie, ON
Salary: $31.43/hr
Shift: Irregular on-call—WEEKEND AVAILABILITY

What You'll Do:

  • Provide exceptional nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident care plans.
  • Create a comfortable and safe environment that respects privacy, dignity, and individuality.
  • Demonstrate professional working knowledge of all equipment used in nursing care delivery.
  • Liaise with medical team members, nurse specialists, and consultants to support effective clinical care for all residents.
  • Assist in general health care, including cleanliness, grooming, rest, nourishment, and therapy.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and nursing care within scope, following guidelines from CNO, LTCA, and home policies.
  • Aid in the assessment of needs and development of care plans.
  • Complete documentation as required.
  • Show commitment to the Gentle Care Philosophy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

  • Unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as an RPN.
  • Successful completion of Medication Administration for RPNs.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Recent TB test.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screen.
