About the Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in overseeing projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in project management within the custom bakery equipment manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and closing of projects, ensuring all objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with various departments, including engineering, production, and sales, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise, providing solutions and updates to senior project managers.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure project success.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and ensure their requirements are being met.
  • Support the senior project managers in managing project resources and logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field.
  • PMP or CAPM certification would be an asset.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello) and MS Office Suite.
  • Proven business acumen with hands-on experience in managing timelines and budgets.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships, deliver updates/messaging, and negotiate outcomes.
  • Results driven with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid Driver’s License and Passport are required (travel is estimated at 20%).
