Position Summary
The Princess Margaret Genomics Centre is seeking a Temporary Full-time Research Technician II. Working under the direction of senior staff, the successful applicant will utilize standardized laboratory techniques and procedures in genomics and molecular biology applications; perform experiments and analysis; communicate and maintain records of experimental data. As an integral team member at the Genomics Centre, a UHN core facility, the research technician must be dedicated and result-driven and will be involved in all aspects of service projects, following SOPs and meeting target deadlines. There will be a special emphasis on techniques for single cell and single nucleus assays as well as spatial transcriptomics.
