IGA Valemount is currently looking for an organized, and detail oriented individual to join our team as a File Maintenance Clerk. With a passion for accuracy, you are a person who loves working with people and creating a positive experience for others.

Job Overview

As a File Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring price integrity throughout the store by working with department leaders to ensure a well-maintained and updated scan system. Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure price integrity throughout the store: tearing, sorting and hanging of price tags
Accurately verify all tags and signs; correct any price anomalies
Efficiently hang all advertised specials in a timely manner and verify all prices for accuracy
Efficiently catalogue all new item tags until product reaches the store
Be an expert in proper stocking procedures and store layout

Qualifications
Must have a valid work authorization in Canada
Previous experience working as a File Maintenance or similar capacity an asset
Previous customer service experience
Previous leadership experience an asset
Must be available to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
Demonstrated working knowledge with computer systems (ie. MS Word, Spreadsheets, Outlook)
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Enjoys working in a team and can work with minimal supervision
