Client: Enterprise Retailer

Location: GTA – 1-2x a month in office.

Hours: 40 hours per week


About the Project: Our client is working on an exciting Pricing Engine project aimed at replacing their current open management system with a new, robust pricing engine portal. This portal will handle discount and promotion calculations, providing a more efficient and scalable solution for their needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot.
  • Design and implement distributed systems with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Work with cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Manage and optimize SQL and Redis databases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of the pricing engine.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.


Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially GCP.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and Redis.
