Are you a DevSecOps Engineer looking to make a real impact in a cloud-driven environment? Our client is hiring a Intermediate-Level DevSecOps Engineer to enhance security across cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for a leading technology company. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the Mississauga office.

What You'll Do:

  • Implement security controls and best practices across CI/CD pipelines

  • Review and assess vulnerabilities (DAST & SAST) to strengthen application security

  • Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to ensure secure infrastructure

  • Provide architectural security guidance for applications built in public cloud environments

  • Maintain a cloud security risk registry and support compliance with PCI-DSS, SOC2, and other standards

  • Assist in incident response and vulnerability management

  • Automate security tools and practices to ensure scalability and efficiency

What You Bring:

Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years in Cybersecurity, with a focus on cloud security

  • Strong AWS expertise (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, etc.)

  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

  • Experience implementing security measures for CI/CD pipelines

  • Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go, APIs)

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, NIST, CIS, OWASP)

  • Advanced security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, OSCP, CISSP, GPEN, etc.)

  • Background in systems/network administration or working with DevOps teams
