Toronto Ontario, Ontario, Canada Infotek Consulting Inc. Full time

We are looking for a Records Management Specialist for a 6 months contract with with high possibility of extension. Role is hybrid with 1 day a week on site in Downtown Toronto.


You have a degree/diploma in CA, CMA, MBA, CIA, CISA, advanced Data or Information Management and/or in related field.

3-5 years experience in financial services and information governance and industry designations is preferred, but not mandatory.

• You have experience supporting an enterprise wide data or information program. You understand the program components for governance, talent, processes, and tooling to deliver on program objectives.

Records Management- Records Management subject matter expertise

Experience creating records governance documentation, including procedures, policies, records retention schedules and other supporting materials

Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, with ability to stay updated


There are 4 different pillars that these candidates can fall into

1.Governance - understanding the Understanding of the requirements for managing electronic records and data in line with industry standards and best practices

Experience in the assessing, remediating or building technology solutions to support records or data lifecycle management

Supporting LOBs in implementing technology requirements for records management

Support build of a process for standards approval and non-compliance

2.Records Management- Records Management subject matter expertise

Experience creating records governance documentation, including procedures, policies, records retention schedules and other supporting materials

3. Enterprise Tooling Support with various records technology initiatives- Experience implementing enterprise solutions for records and/or data lifecycle management, which may include email, business/legacy applications, records repositories, SharePoint etc.

Ability to support internal and external delivery teams in the design and implementation of system records management capabilities

BA roles may be suitable for some of the work under this pillar.

4. Operationalization TOM Operationalization/SuccessFactors - Experience implementing enterprise change initiatives, ideally concerning roles and responsibilities as this resource will be supporting HR partners to define and rollout records and data roles.

Service-oriented mindset, with demonstrated experience supporting various stakeholders to accomplish business-led activities

5.LOB Deficiency Remediation - Knowledge of governance risk and control methodologies with experience implementing records or data related activities - validation of artifacts
