Responsibilities

Ensure a safe and clean work environment by developing, implementing, and adhering to CNH safety programs, policies, and regulations.
Conduct thorough root cause analysis of all equipment breakdowns through the emergency work order.
Monitor and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
Strategically deploy maintenance types (breakdown, time-based, corrective, condition-based).
Evaluate and recommend equipment improvements to enhance availability, capability, and yield.
Perform equipment failure analyses (including preventative and unscheduled maintenance).
Troubleshoot and diagnose difficult, infrequent problems with equipment.
Prepare technical reports to document equipment modifications and maintenance procedures.
Prioritize repair calls, communicate delays or complications, clearly define repair requirements, and maintain inventory of replacement spare parts.
Participate in launching and sustaining new and existing manufacturing products and processes.
Schedule sub-contracted work when necessary and maintain formal and informal communication to ensure continuity of maintenance support.
Develop and administer a comprehensive maintenance budget for the plant and facility, focusing on cost-savings opportunities.
Actively participate in appropriate management team(s), assisting with strategic plans, organizational development, capital and operating budgets, and other corporate goals and outcomes.
Organize and lead teams of multi-disciplined salaried and hourly personnel through delegation, leadership, training, and effective utilization of all team members.
Develop and implement action items aimed at providing a satisfying work environment by meeting or exceeding established people satisfaction targets.
Develop and maintain positive employee relations within the guidelines of company policy.
Coach, mentor, and train subordinates for future positions.
Handle human resource activities such as employee selection, pay administration, employee counseling, training, performance reviews, discipline, and the administration of policies and agreements.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:

  1. A Degree in Management or Engineering or a combination of education and related work experience.
  2. Minimum of five years working in Maintenance or Facilities Management.
  3. Minimum of three years of supervisory experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Proficiency in the use of computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
  2. Ability to analyze and utilize data dealing with budgets and departmental objectives.
