What You Will Do

The Claims Adjuster, Accident Benefits is responsible for oversight and handling of automobile, long haul trucking, motorcycle, and recreational vehicle Accident Benefits claims. The successful candidate will have a dynamic personality and the ability to excel in a high performance environment.

  • Ongoing processing and assessing new claims, detailed and thorough investigation, needs analysis, entitlement to benefits, facilitation of coverage and delivery of superior customer service
  • Ensure immediate and effective responses are provided through written/telephone communication to the following; (lawyers, clients, doctors, rehabilitation facilities and service providers
  • Obtain approval from Manager on claims above authority
Who You Are
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
  • CIP or working towards designation
  • Minimum of 2 years experience handling casualty claims required
  • Strong organizational; decision making and problem solving skillset
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of claims settlement, policy wording, fraud investigations and coverage issues
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
