Job Title: JDE Functional Consultant - Payroll

Job Type: 1-year contract (with a high possibility of extension)

Location: New Westminster, BC (Hybrid)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Hours: 35 hours per week

Rate: $85/hr

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced JDE Functional Consultant to join our client’s dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne modules and will be responsible for providing functional expertise, system configuration, and support. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless operations across various business areas.


Key Responsibilities:


JDE Module Expertise:

  • Provide functional expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules, including setup, configuration, and optimization of system processes.
  • Design and configure processes such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial modules in alignment with organizational policies.

Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

  • Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and functional solutions within JDE.
  • Analyze and document business processes, ensuring solutions meet both operational needs and compliance requirements.

System Configuration and Optimization:

  • Configure and maintain JDE modules, ensuring seamless integration with other modules (HR, Finance, Time & Labor).
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend efficient, automated solutions.

Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Provide ongoing support for JDE system operations, troubleshooting issues, and resolving errors within various business processes.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve integration or system-related issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure that business processes comply with all relevant regulations and organizational standards.
  • Develop and generate reports, ensuring data integrity and accuracy for audits and internal analysis.

Training and Documentation:

  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they understand system functionality and processes.
  • Create and maintain thorough documentation for configurations, system changes, and user guides.

Project Management:

  • Lead or participate in JDE-related projects such as system upgrades, process reengineering, or new module implementations, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a JDE Functional Consultant.
  • Deep understanding of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules, including setup, processing, and reporting.
  • Experience with integrating JDE modules such as HR, Finance, and Time & Labor.
  • Strong ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to train users and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management or leading system implementations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards Time & Labor, Benefits, and Human Resources modules.
  • Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.x or higher versions.
  • Familiarity with system integrations to external platforms.
  • Experience with multi-country or multi-location implementations.
