As an E-learning Specialist, you will play a key role in helping industry thrive in Eastern Canada. You will be responsible for implementing comprehensive Hybrid Learning and Development (L&D) programs that align with the organization's business objectives. Your ultimate goal will be to provide a conducive environment for all our team members to improve their employee performance, increase their productivity, grow in their career, and promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement. By doing this, you will greatly contribute to creating optimal experiences for our employees, clients, and partners, which is directly connected to our purpose and company values.

Reporting to the VP of Talent & Culture, and in collaboration with our L&D Business Partner, you will work closely with managers to identify, document, and ensure the development of our employees within various business units. You will also be responsible for the design, delivery, and evaluation of Hybrid L&D Programs for all employees to acquire, maintain, and develop competencies based on their career paths. This includes the development of L&D solutions for new hire orientation, soft skills learning programs, leadership development programs, and other job-specific career development programs.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify learning and development needs.
  2. Ensure that core and cross-functional Hybrid L&D Programs are designed in alignment with business competencies, career paths, goals, and objectives.
  3. Utilize a variety of training methodologies and technologies, including e-learning, classroom training, coaching and mentoring, and on-the-job training, to ensure the effective delivery of L&D programs for employees working off-site and “on the road” as well as those working at Laurentide’s locations.
  4. Utilize Learning Management System (LMS) and design platforms such as Articulate 360, Synthesia, Canva, etc. to produce and deploy impactful learning solutions.
  5. Monitor the effectiveness of competency-based training and development programs. Continuously evaluate and refine approaches to ensure maximum impact.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends in all areas of L&D.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  1. Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Human Resources, Education, Organizational Psychology).
  2. Experience in Learning and Development, including designing and delivering training programs.
  3. Experience with learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
  4. French and English, spoken and written.

WORK LOCATION: Kirkland, QC. Hybrid, possibility of occasional telework.
