 University or College degree/diploma preferably in one of the following areas: Industrial

Hygiene, Risk Management, EH&S Management Program

 Completion of or progress towards Part 1 & Part 2 H&S Certification an asset

 Certification as a trainer or auditor for ISO, including WHMIS and IRS (Internal

Responsibility System) legislation is an asset

 Experience with environmental or safety improvement projects in a manufacturing

setting is an asset

 Solid comprehension of current health and safety and environmental legislation

 Able to successfully communicate with all levels in the organization

 Capable of effectively designing and delivering training programs

 Possesses excellent organization skills essential for maintaining systems

 Proven ability dealing with government agencies (MOL & MOE)

 Previous supervisory managing a team of H&S professionals

 Effective Project Management skills

 Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

 Good written and verbal communication skills
