Description

We are looking for an experienced IT professional to join our dynamic IT team in Toronto. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the core responsibilities of the position will center on providing technical support to bureaus, head office and clients. You will use your skills to implement technical solutions and provide high quality support for computer hardware, operating systems and all critical business applications.

This position is expected to work rotational shifts, including early and late hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Timely support to all end-user questions and support requests from users and clients or escalating to the corresponding IT staff.
  • Point of contact for desktop and laptop support and troubleshooting.
  • Perform complex problem determination and resolution, identifying hardware and software problems.
  • Install, configure and upgrade operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages.
  • Proficiently manage and support MS Active Directory, MS Azure and email systems such as MS Office 365.
  • Utilize scripting to efficiently deploy changes across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Respond to antivirus and malware threats detected on systems.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of Support team processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • College or university education in the relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Excellent skills working with Microsoft Windows computers, Apple Mac devices and mobile devices.
  • Strong skills of device and patch management tools such as SCCM, or Intune.
  • Proven experience working with MS Active Directory, MS Azure, MS Exchange and Office 365.
  • Knowledge of patch management, firewalls and security/threat prevention systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Communication skills in French is an asset.
  • Experience in AWS is preferred.
Licenses or certifications:
  • A+, Microsoft and other technology-related certifications are preferred.
