This position is open to candidates Canada-wide and will work PST business hours, remote. We are looking for individuals who can actively contribute to our clients team and not those who have moved into purely management roles.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct SOC 1 and SOC 2 assessments for a diverse range of clients, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and best practices.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their specific needs and provide tailored SOC assessment services.
  • Prepare and present detailed SOC reports, highlighting areas of concern and recommending actionable improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of SOC assessments.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in SOC standards and related regulations to provide clients with the most current insights.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience conducting SOC assessments, with a preference for experience in both SOC 1 and SOC 2.
  • External-facing experience within a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SOC frameworks, controls, and auditing standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable advice.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recent experience in a client-facing role, demonstrating the ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience conducting SOC assessments for various industries and organizations.
