What you'll do

  • Establishing customer relationships by building rapport, becoming familiar with specific needs, expectations, and requirements of target customers
  • Booking appointment for customers to view and drive trucks
  • Achieving and maintaining personal sales targets set out by yearly department goals
  • Organizing and scheduling sales delivery processes
  • Communicating promptly with direct supervisor regarding any opportunities and customer issues that may arise
  • Follow up with customers to ensure that they are satisfied with their vehicle and to build future sales
  • Answer incoming calls in accordance with established call rotation (if applicable)
  • Promptly greet walk-in customers in accordance with established call rotation (if applicable)
  • Monitor advertisements for competitor pricing awareness
  • Displaying a clean and neat appearance wearing appropriate attire per the company's dress code


What you'll need

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous medium duty truck sales experience preferred but not required
  • Valid Driver's License with Abstract acceptable to TDF Group's Driver and Vehicle Safety Program
  • Pre-hire Criminal Security Clearance is required
  • A commitment to delighting customers through attitude, attention and effort
  • Strong computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to solve problems independently following company guidelines and policies
