Job Description

As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our veterinarians, technicians, and reception team, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. Responsibilities include assisting with animal examinations, handling and restraining animals during procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, answering phones, and providing excellent customer service to pet owners.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinarians and Technicians during examinations and procedures.
• Handle and restrain animals with care and compassion.
• Perform routine laboratory procedures, such as sample processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in treatment areas and kennels.
• Answering phones
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing information and assistance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in veterinary setting preferred.
• Knowledge of basic veterinary procedures and terminology.
• Comfortable working with a variety of animal species.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Veterinary Assistant is preferred.
