- Direct and control the operations of commercial facilities
- Identify customers’ needs
- Prepare reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility
- Promote sales to existing clients
- Read blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements
- Recommend products or services to customers
- Identify and solicit potential clients
- Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
- Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefi ts from use of good or service
- Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service
- Prepare and administer sales contracts
- Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services
- Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventivemaintenance programs
- Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment and electrical andmechanical systems
- Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff
- Plan and manage the facility's operations budget
