Our client, a leading supplier in the construction, plumbing and hydronic supply industry, is seeking an exceptional Outside Commercial Sales Representative to drive growth and cultivate strong relationships within the Greater Toronto Area's commercial segment.


As an Outside Commercial Sales Representative, you will be the face of our client, developing and managing strategic sales initiatives to expand market presence and deliver outstanding customer experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with existing and potential customers, leveraging deep product knowledge to address their evolving needs
  • Conduct proactive job site visits to identify opportunities, overcome challenges, and ensure service excellence
  • Strategically expand market penetration by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities
  • Provide comprehensive customer support, including order management, product sourcing, and timely follow-ups
  • Collaborate within a high-performing sales team to meet both immediate and long-term customer requirements
  • Ensure pricing accuracy and resolve discrepancies in coordination with internal departments
  • Liaise with vendors to coordinate product training, sourcing, and competitive pricing strategies

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven success in commercial sales, preferably in the construction or plumbing and hydronic supplies industry
  • In-depth knowledge of construction or plumbing and hydronic products and market trends
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage complex sales cycles
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a competitive spirit
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, think critically, and provide innovative solutions
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
