This position is responsible for developing customer relationships and maintaining existing customer relationships for Yellow Pages. Using effective sales techniques, he/she will generate sales revenue and develop accounts where possible. He/she will also ensure complete customer satisfaction. Solicitation and campaign needs must be met within the deadlines set by the division or organization. This position is responsible for the final contact with the client and ensuring that the advertising is accurate and complete. As part of the job, has overall authority to contract for the company.

Key areas of responsibilities:

  • Have an excellent understanding of multimedia advertising solutions designed to drive high quality leads and ROI, and possess the ability to create, demonstrate and deliver such solutions.
  • Consult with clients to identify and present solutions focused on PJ benefits.
  • Understand and promote PJ products and services that are appropriate for each client.
  • Develop proposals for clients based on needs assessment.
  • Ensure the effective withdrawal of revenue by period completed based on minimum revenue increase against the business objective.
  • Ensure all documentation and reporting is complete and accurate.
  • Understand and promote PJ's products and services and continually upgrade knowledge of the same.
  • Provide exceptional service while increasing PJ sales revenue by developing a value-based partnership with customers.
  • Ensure all campaign deadlines are met and directories are closed according to schedule.
  • Maintain positive and effective relationships with clients.
  • Represent PJ in a professional and enthusiastic manner to internal and external clients.

Requirements:

  • At least three to five years of experience in sales and media.
  • Must have a car and valid driver's license.
  • This position involves occasional interactions with clients or professionals both internally and externally on a national scale. Therefore, English proficiency is an asset.
  • A degree in business administration, marketing, or education is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Internet search engines, YP and online directories.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to work independently to manage and prioritize tasks to achieve desired results.

Technical Skills:

  • Good knowledge and ability to learn related to the Internet and social media.
  • Knowledge of creative and directive advertising in multiple media, including print, Internet, paid search, organic search, mobile applications, and social media.
  • Strong technology skills including tablet PC, customer relationship management tools, and Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Motivation derived from results in achieving goals set by the company.
  • Ability to overcome objections through perseverance.
  • Ability to calculate return on investment and understand KPIs and how they are evaluated. Basic math skills and ability to evaluate and explain numbers. Strong business acumen.
