Job Responsibilities

As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Data Utilization: Use multiple sources of information, including broader stakeholder views, to develop solutions and recommendations.
  • Quality Control: Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet Vialto/client expectations.
  • Decision Support: Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
  • Global Trends: Develop a point of view on key global trends and how they impact clients.
  • Consensus Building: Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
  • Communication: Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.

Preferred Knowledge

  • Individual Tax Planning: Extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in understanding individual tax planning for employee cross-border movement, including foreign national and expatriate issues, foreign tax compliance, and the tax equalization process.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in utilizing technical skills in individual tax compliance, tax planning, and expatriate tax program policy and administration design.
  • Team Leadership: Considerable experience as a team leader, including supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust, seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation, and coaching staff with timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Business Advisory: Demonstrates success as a tax technical business advisor, including developing new relationships and making introductions to sell new services.
  • Automation and Digitization: Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment, including innovating through new and existing technologies.
  • Pricing Strategies: Knowledge of alternative fee arrangements, including the use of pricing tools to provide a point of view on pricing strategies.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge and Experience: Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in individual tax planning for employee cross-border movement.
  • Leadership: Considerable experience as a team leader, including supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust.
  • Business Advisory: Demonstrates success as a tax technical business advisor.
  • Automation and Digitization: Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
  • Pricing Strategies: Knowledge of alternative fee arrangements.

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other business-related fields.

Experience and Certification:

  • Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years
  • Certification(s) Required: CPA, Enrolled Agent, Member of the Bar, Global Professional in Human Resources, or Global Remuneration Professional
