Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Continuously develop and operate an effective and value adding sales organization through continuous coaching, training and professional development.
- Lead by example and thrive a growth mindset.
- Ensure that the Danfoss team is seen by customer decision makers as the most attractive supplier to work with.
- Accelerate sales growth with full focus on business development and customers in Canada:
- Grow our cores business in HVAC, Water, Oil & Gas
- Expand the business opportunities for new growth levers for Electrification in Energy
- & Marine
- Ensure global strategies are adapted and translated to a local Canada strategy.
- Implement and execute a local strategy together with the Canadian team and close collaboration with US/North American focused industry teams.
- Continuously develop the Go-To-Market strategy for all different industry verticals ensure strong growth and leading market positions.
- Build a strong distribution partner network dedicated to our focus industries.
- Leading and motivated employees based on the company values and by own example.
- Provide input to decisions on business segment and product strategies, portfolio priorities and product adaptations.
- Ensure that the available resources in your own organization and in division/business unit functions are utilized in an optimal way supporting the growth journey in Canada.
- Ensure the value proposition of Danfoss Drives is implemented and lived throughout your own organization.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:
- Graduate or postgraduate of business or a technical university.
- You are today working within a sales organization with a minimum of 5-10 years of management selling AC Drives or Industrial Automation products and solutions.
- You have experience in managing a sizeable turnover and sizeable commercial team leading through others.
- You understand how to operate in a matrix organization.
- You are able learn from others and take on the ideas of Best Practices.
- You are ambitious for the business and for yourself.
- As you work in an international environment, fluency in both written and oral English and French is required.
- You have a hunter mindset with a passion for selling AC Drives and interaction with customers. You can also view things in the wider perspective such as cross-country or cross-divisional opportunities and collaboration.
- You have a proven track record of substantial business sales successes working in Canada.
- You have a strong market knowledge and experience from sales in the drives industry or alternatively from the industry automation field.
- You are an experienced business professional with capabilities to work and lead in a matrix, and you master strategic sales tools.
- You are a strong leader and thereby able to motivate, coach/develop people, and get commitment to the decided direction of the business in the region.
