We are currently searching for a Commissioning Consultant to join our growing team in the Greater Toronto Area, with both at-home and in-office working available.


Responsibilities and Duties:

· Manage the commissioning process on behalf of the client

· Conduct Commissioning design reviews of MEP Documents

· Prepare commissioning plans

· Prepare commissioning specifications

· Prepare Integrated Systems Testing (IST) plans

· Prepare Integrated Systems Testing (IST) specifications

· Conduct reviews of MEP submittals

· Prepare pre-functional checklists

· Prepare functional performance testing documentation.

· Communicate with the contractor to coordinate functional testing

· Witness functional performance testing

· Manage project cost and seek additional funds if scope of work increases

· Develop systems manuals

· Review O&M documents and various reports

· Develop commissioning reports

· Develop IST reports

· Prepare and maintain commissioning records of site observations, pre-functional checklists and functional testing

· Manage your time on the project to meet the schedule and scope of the project


Qualifications:

· Minimum 4 years of Commissioning experience - Experience with mechanical systems is essential additional experience with electrical & fire systems is preferred

· Superior Project management skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Proficient at working under pressure, staying organized, and maintaining focus

· Excellent at meeting project schedules and time deliverables

· BAS controls experience desirable.

· Experience with Integrated Systems Testing

· CAN/ULC S1001 Certified Coordinator desirable, but not required

· Licensed Professional engineer desirable but not essential

· CCP, BCxP or other commissioning credential desirable
