Robert Half is looking for a results-oriented Financial Editor to perform various administrative and financial support duties. Responsibilities:
- Support Audit Team: Assist during all stages of engagements by conducting research, participating in client meetings, and editing, proofreading, and distributing reports.
- Annual Audit Plan Development: Research audit topics, coordinate meetings, and prepare presentations to support the development of the annual audit plan.
- General Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as required.
- Performance Tracking: Assist with tracking key performance measures, budgets, and invoices for the Internal Audit Department (IAD).
- Promotion Support: Prepare presentations and edit and proofread articles to support the promotion of IAD.
- Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with all departments to ensure effective communications.
- Communication Liaison: Liaise with and maintain ongoing and effective communication with IAD management.
- Collaboration: Collaborate and liaise with other departments, municipalities, and external organizations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Post-secondary certificate program in Office Administration or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Peoplesoft Financial System (FIMS) or related system.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Document Accessibility: Knowledge and experience ensuring documents follow accessibility standards.
- Teamwork and Independence: Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Data Processing: Ability to process data quickly and accurately.
