SENIOR MARKETING COORDINATOR AT YUMI ORGANICS (CPG Experience Required)


The Senior Marketing Coordinator at Yumi Organics will assist the Marketing Manager in implementing marketing strategies and executing brand campaigns across all major channels.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of brand strategy, social media, and influencer marketing, with hands-on experience in the Consumer Goods industry. They should excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and demonstrate exceptional proactivity, motivation, and innovation. This role offers a unique opportunity for a dynamic self-starter to contribute to the growth of a leading Forbes 30 Under 30 organization.


This position requires close collaboration with the sales department to ensure marketing efforts align with sales objectives and deadlines. The Senior Marketing Coordinator will also oversee key retail marketing activities and operational tasks, including supporting both marketing and sales teams by preparing and organizing promotional materials for trade shows and other offline events.

RESPONSIBILITES OF THE COORDINATOR


  • Assist the Marketing Manager in executing on brand campaigns and product launches for all major marketing channels including but not limited to social media, influencer marketing, offline activities and sales functions.
  • Prepare sales marketing materials for events and offline initiatives, including brochures, flyers, and product samples. Coordinate with external vendors and agencies to manage promotional activities and materials such as prints, banners, and trade show booths.
  • Coordinate and assist with on-set brand campaigns and social media photoshoots, develop and provide mood boards, briefs, and channel asset requirements, and oversee the execution of photoshoots to ensure alignment with brand vision.
  • Build and manage relationships with influencers, agents and partners to ensure a consistent flow of high-quality content that can be leveraged across all marketing channels, including organic social and paid media ads.
  • Assist with in-house content creation and scheduling of social media content, email campaigns, and other digital marketing initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with agencies and freelancers, ensuring deadlines are met and analyzing the provided analytics for performance insights.
  • Collaborate closely with Paid Media partners to provide top performing organic social media and photo/video content for digital ads.
  • Conduct market research to support the development of marketing strategies.
  • Track and report on weekly marketing campaign performance, delivering key insights, recommendations for improvement, and identifying business opportunities.
  • Ensure the company's website remains current with seasonal updates, brand campaigns, product launches, and promotional periods.
  • Monitor the website's performance and health, taking proactive steps to maintain and
  • optimize it, including implementing SEO initiatives through freelancers or agencies as needed.
  • Provide first sign-off on all new packaging and revisions needed to ensure it complies with brand, values, call outs and QA compliance team before presenting to President.
  • Work on building aligned brand partnerships to grow visibility and sales.
  • Ensure marketing calendar and strategies are executed on time.
  • Ability to offer creative marketing solutions and ideas to build upon marketing strategy and plan.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing marketing databases.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Manage YUMI's LinkedIn business account.


REQUIREMENTS (ARE YOU THE RIGHT FIT FOR YUMI?)

  • CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in marketing or a related role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly proactive, curious, and creative individual who consistently seeks new business
  • opportunities for growth.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in task execution.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in social media content creation and video editing.

Preferred:


  • Experience in the food industry or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector.
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Knowledge of the Canadian and US markets and consumer behavior.
  • Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and marketing automation tools.
