Job Description
Actalent is searching for a Project Engineer for an exciting project with one of our clients in the aerospace industry. You will be responsible for integrating and delivering complex avionics systems, including display (graphics), I/O, hardware, and software. You will collaborate with Platform, Systems, Hardware, and V&V teams to ensure the on-time delivery of their respective parts.

  • Support Engineering Estimates and Software Development Plans
  • Oversee engineering project team and subcontractor deliverables, ensuring projects are within budget, schedule, and quality standards
  • Regularly maintain engineering project plans
  • Execute the engineering development plan, identifying and anticipating problems that could hinder or limit the project's progress
  • Provide recommendations to ensure operational efficiency
  • Work with departments such as Program Management, Certification, Safety & Reliability, Quality, and others to maintain engineering work standards and processes
  • Evaluate technical risks, mitigation, and contingency plans
  • Produce and present monthly status reports for management review
  • Support continuous product improvement and innovation
  • Thrive under pressure and solve challenging problems
