Contract: 1 year with 2 years of possible extension

Clearance: Need to have reliability clearance on hand or need to be in Canada since past 5 years to be eligible for it.


Must have requirements: (No exception)

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in software engineering or information technology or a combination of education and related experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in implementing data models for operational systems. This experience would be in roles and projects with increasing complexity in application.
  • Must have experience as a Data Modeler with focus on developing operational databases, insurance knowledge preferred.
  • Must have strong proficiency in data modeling tools and techniques, in-depth knowledge of Third Normal Form (3NF) principles and database normalization.
  • Must have Familiarity with document data modeling design.
  • Experience developing data models with a relational database management system (RDBMS). With experience in at least one Cloud RDBMS, preferably Azure SQL
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to deliver high-quality, well-documented data models (conceptual, logical and physical)
  • Strong proficiency in Azure SQL
  • Experience developing in cloud platforms (preferably MicrosoftAzure environment)
  • Experience in developing microservices databases and strong knowledge of an event driven architecture.
