  3. Proven expertise in high-level software engineering concepts, specifically: strategy, leadership, organizational design, team topologies, talent management and business engagement.
  4. Substantive experience creating and executing an effective AI strategy to support business goals as well as align with software delivery objectives.
  5. Experience leading large software engineering teams and/or delivering high-impact software initiatives would be a plus.
  6. Strong project management skills: ability to develop project plans, work toward established deadlines and produce high quality deliverables.
  7. Demonstrated excellence in research and writing ability.
  8. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and simply to clients, internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; can apply patterns and frameworks while effectively drawing and defending conclusions.
  10. Experienced and comfortable presenting at large and small-scale speaking engagements.
  11. Expansive knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within subject area as well as related market dynamics.
  12. Ability to work independently, while also being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others in a multicultural global team.
  13. High learning agility: willingness to adapt to Gartner’s unique corporate culture and new work environment.
  14. Ability to represent Gartner's research methodology and strategies effectively at all levels.
