We are seeking a Survey Technologist for our Northern Alberta projects.

As the ideal candidate, you are capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks while meeting submission deadlines and thriving in a dynamic work environment. You will have the opportunity to develop a career path focused on technical leadership based on your career aspirations and qualifications.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Topographic and quantity surveys.
  • Construction staking and layout.
  • Set up and monitor heavy equipment GPS machine control.
  • Assist with miscellaneous technical activities or general labor as required.
  • Shift work within compliance of provincial legislation.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years industry experience in geomatics or civil engineering technology.
  • 5+ years industry experience with field survey data collection software, Microsoft Office, or other software for civil design.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Committed team player and ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel within Alberta.

Education:

High school diploma or Post-Secondary Diploma in Civil Engineering or Geomatics.

Expected start date: 2023-12-21

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • Every Weekend
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Acheson, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • surveying: 5 years (preferred)
