The Bunge Engineering Internship Program is looking for collaborative, results-oriented candidates with strong critical thinking and communication skills. The internship is crafted to give you an understanding of the operations and processes of businesses across Bunge’s value chain. During the internship, you will receive multi-functional exposure to a number of Bunge’s business units while performing various operational functions (e.g., grain elevator operations, engineering).

You will develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide a solid foundation in all aspects of commercial and/or operational processes. Ability and willingness to relocate for the duration of the internship is required.

Essential Functions:
  1. Participate fully in the day-to-day operation of a Bunge facility
  2. Develop a thorough understanding of elevator or oilseed processing plant operations
  3. Demonstrate your level of understanding by responding to verbal or written inquiries from supervisors, mentors, or program managers
  4. Travel to other Bunge locations for training and exposure purposes
  5. Assist location and corporate staff in evaluating changing crop, market, and operational conditions
  6. Ability to communicate effectively with Bunge internal and external customers
Qualifications/Requirements:
  1. Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university, with Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Agricultural Engineering strongly preferred
  2. Must be collaborative, results-oriented, and possess strong critical thinking skills
  3. Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change
  4. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  5. Analytical problem-solving skills
  6. Proficiency in standard PC applications
  7. Standard internship hours: 8 AM – 5 PM, subject to adjustment as required by assignment and/or location
  8. This position is for a fall term (September 2024 - December 2024)
  9. Ability to travel
