Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Architect with a passion for educational projects, particularly K-12 schools. The ideal candidate will possess strong design and technical skills, along with the ability to manage complex projects from conception through completion. This role requires a collaborative individual who can work effectively with clients, consultants, and project teams to deliver high-quality architectural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of K-12 school projects, ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulations.
Manage all phases of project development, from initial concept and schematic design to construction documentation and administration.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Conduct site visits and oversee construction progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and construction documents.
Utilize our AMP delivery process to maximize value and control of both schedule and budget for clients.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
A minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design, with a strong focus on educational projects, especially K-12 schools.
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
Strong knowledge of building codes, AODA standards, and educational facility standards.
Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
