What you will do:

The IT Support Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of JAM's IT help desk, providing Level I and Level II support to internal users and assisting the Level I help desk team. This position will also collaborate with the Systems Administrator and Network Administrator to support and maintain JAM's critical IT infrastructure. This fast-paced position requires you to provide assistance through various forms of communication, including in-person, over the phone, and through written correspondence. If you are energetic, customer service-oriented, and enjoy solving technical problems, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly technical support to internal users for IT hardware, software, printing, connectivity, and other infrastructure needs, both remotely and onsite;
  • Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve problems with the aim of eliminating recurrences and reducing calls to the help desk;
  • Install, configure, deploy, and manage computers and other IT devices in accordance with corporate standards;
  • Oversee hardware/software asset management and license compliance;
  • Participate in various IT projects and contribute to general improvement of infrastructure systems;
  • Prepare and maintain documentation related to IT infrastructure, such as recurring IT tasks and processes;
  • Utilize the help desk ticketing system to manage tasks, requests for support, and day-to-day activities;
  • Perform other duties and activities as needed.

*Hybrid environment - remote work is key with minimum physical presence required
*Flexibility with the working hours - must be connected during core hours or when there are support duties

What we are looking for:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar IT support role and structured environment;
  • A strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware and software;
  • Windows OS (Client/Server), Windows AD, Azure AD;
  • Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, etc);
  • Microsoft Intune;
  • PowerShell scripting;
  • Basic network knowledge and experience;
  • Bilingual.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Related certifications (ie. CompTIAA+, Microsoft 365);
  • Related Post-Secondary Education or College degree.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Resourceful; ability to research hardware and software issues in a thorough manner;
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team while demonstrating self-sufficiency;
