TOP RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners
  • Prepare and process prescriptions
  • Interact with our clients through various channels
  • Manage the day to day operations and staff of the Pharmacy (or pharmacies) to which you’re very familiar: Immunizations, Minor Ailment Assessing and Prescribing, etc.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to our amazing Pharmacy Assistants

ALL ABOUT YOU:

  • Completed an accredited university level degree program in pharmacy;
  • Successfully completed provincial and national examinations demonstrating competence in pharmacy practice and applicable pharmacy laws and standards of practice or can we write: Board certified in Nova Scotia?
  • Understand all health care and pharmacy laws governing pharmaceuticals, pharmacists/technicians roles, and pharmacy operations;
  • Proficiency in Kroll software considered an asset;
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with our diverse clientele
  • Patient, kind and approachable
