Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals using current menu.
- Store food following food safety procedures.
- Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
- Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
- Ensure a safe and sanitary environment for staff and residents.
- Interact with residents in a friendly manner.
- Monitor inventory and deliveries.
- Deliver meals and clean up.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 1 year experience in restaurant or home-cooking.
- Strong background in food services.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Comprehensive food services knowledge.
- Superior communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and problem solve.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
Conditions of Employment:
- Food Safe Certification.
