Job Summary:

As a Renewable Energy Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of renewable energy systems. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various renewable energy installations, with a specific emphasis on compliance, regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on renewable energy systems, including solar panels, wind turbines, and geothermal systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to renewable energy equipment, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with installation teams to ensure new systems meet quality and safety standards during the commissioning phase.
  • Conduct performance assessments and implement efficiency improvements to enhance the overall operation of renewable energy systems.
  • Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and relevant regulations to provide informed recommendations and maintain compliance.
  • Work closely with customers to address inquiries, provide technical support, and offer guidance on optimizing renewable energy system performance.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Gas Technician Certification
  • Familiarity with regulations and safety standards related to renewable energy installations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
