We are a full-service firm providing a range of services to our clients. We welcome lawyers from all backgrounds and provide support and mentoring to those coming from an ICBC/Plaintiff personal injury background to transition to Family Law We are looking for a lawyer to grow and develop our already busy family law team, and who shares our values of client-centered service, investment in the Kamloops community and who values diversity, equity and inclusion. The climate of Kamloops is semi-arid and has the third mildest winter of any non-coastal city in Canada. Kamloops is an outdoor mecca for activities like hiking and mountain biking with an extensive trail network for year-round adventure. With over 100 nearby lakes within an hours drive, it also offers paddling, kayaking and some of the best fresh water fishing in North America. Known as the Tournament Capital of Canada, Kamloops has hosted many tournaments and is home to a range of professional athletes from many sports. Kamloops has the highest number of golf courses (13) per capita in Canada and boasts one of Canada's most diverse golf landscapes. Golfers enjoy three seasons of golf due to the dry and hot climate of the area. Sun Peaks Resort is Canada's second largest ski area and receives 6 metres of snow annually, covering the mountains with light, dry powder that is famous to the interior of BC.

Job Requirements:
- Proven track record of managing complex files without sacrificing quality or attention to detail
- Extensive experience in BC Supreme Court and Family Law Rules as well as court proceedings and processes
- Experience in negotiating and mediating with a winning track record
- Proven experience to contribute to the success of a team
Qualifications:
- Must be in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
- Professional with excellent judgement and the ability to exercise discretion regarding confidential information
- Strong work ethic
- Client centered approach
- Flexible and adaptable to constantly changing needs within the firm
- Strong interest in growing the scope of our firm
- Ability to handle high volume and the fast pace of our busy practice.
