Type of position

ADW is seeking a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Automation Engineer for a Full-time Hybrid role in Aurora, ON.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with Programmers and CAD Automation Technologists to develop new design automation tools to solve unique challenges
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting existing design automation tools
  • Updating existing design automation tools, as necessary
  • Participating in system development discussions to help direct User Interface and Functionality Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, Solidworks experience preferred
  • Experience in creating fabrication and construction/ installation drawings
  • Previous work experience in architectural, industrial steel, mechanical design, or energy sector projects is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
