North West Crane is currently seeking a Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician for our facility.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose/troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems
  • Diagnose/troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
  • Reading and interpretation of mechanical and electrical schematics
  • Operate forklift and overhead cranes
  • Using OEM software to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment
  • Ensure cleanliness throughout the shop

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a Heavy-Duty Technician is required
  • Crane experience is an asset
  • Must have valid apprenticeship with Alberta and Industry Training or Journeyman Red Seal/Interprovincial Certification
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
  • Strong work ethic
  • Consistent punctuality and reliability
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally

Safety

  • Ensure that site safety measures meet or exceed the parameters set out by the Health and Safety manual
  • Promote a positive safety culture with a target for zero incidents
  • Attend daily toolbox meeting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $42.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
