JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION DETAILS:

This Technical Business Analyst role will be reporting to the Manager of Product Development. This role will collaborate in implementing technology solutions for TNG systems, by gathering, testing, and analyzing business requirements. The BA will manage multiple time-sensitive enhancement projects and work with a variety of project stakeholders in a high volume, entrepreneurial environment. This role will be part of an AGILE product development team managing Sprint cycles; responsible for providing expertise with strategic business processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Implement strategies for gathering, reviewing, and analyzing data requirements for TNG Domestic and International Web Portals with focus on enhancing TNG products and systems. Projects and business strategies will be reviewed and monitored by the Manager of Product Development.
  2. Lead in the development of business requirement documents for IT enhancement tickets. Gather requirements by coordinating directly with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Operations, and Development teams. Develop documents outlining current processes, limitations, issues, and changes required.
  3. Responsible for prioritizing requirements, creating prototypes, mock-ups, and test cases for business requirement documents.
  4. Provide product and system support as a subject matter expert and effectively communicate business development strategy to a wide variety of internal and external users. Required to remain agile while managing multiple time-sensitive IT projects.
  5. Conduct product and system demos to clients and internal users.
  6. Manage sprint planning meetings and assist with deploying enhancements for Domestic/International web portals and phone systems.
  7. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, developers, and product managers to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of TNG systems.
  8. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all organizational policies including but not limited to, data, security, and health & safety policies.
  9. Provide research and conduct cost/benefit analysis to enhance processes and solutions.
  10. Process Flow Analysis.
  11. Product Architecture and Design Best Practices.
  12. Experience working with developers.
  13. Experience with Cloud Solutions and/or RDBS.
  14. Basic competence in at least one programming language (e.g. JavaScript, C#, etc.)
  15. Requirements Definition.
  16. Configuration Workbook.
  17. Data Models.
  18. Detailed Functional Design.
  19. Executive Summaries.
  20. Project Plans.
  21. Other duties/ad-hoc projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent; or 3 to 5 years related (consulting) experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Technical Background / Degree Program preferred.
  2. Able to discuss experience with cloud software solutions.
  3. Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
  4. Ability to work independently.
  5. Able to discuss the benefits of a Software as a Service Model.
  6. Basic Knowledge of implementation and configuration of enterprise systems such as CRM, PSA, or ERP.
  7. Ability to learn quickly and think creatively.
  8. Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership role when necessary.
  9. Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.
