In its 15th year of business, Baby Gourmet was acquired by The Hero Group – a private international company headquartered in Switzerland.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support our sales team and contribute to the continued growth of Baby Gourmet. This role is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced CPG environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team, ensuring seamless execution of sales initiatives and processes.
  • Assist with sales reports, forecasts, and account tracking using tools such as Nielsen, Power BI, and retailer POS data.
  • Assist in managing customer accounts by coordinating promotional plans, trade spend tracking and maintaining accurate price lists.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies.
  • Support in the preparation of sales presentations, business reviews, and customer meeting materials.
  • Coordinate retailer-specific programs, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and promotional strategies.
  • Assist in managing vendor portals and retail customer portals, ensuring all product listings, pricing, and promotional details are accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Coordinate and execute trade show logistics, retailer meetings, and other sales-related events.
  • Handle ad hoc projects and administrative tasks to support the sales department's success.

What We Are Looking For:

  • CPG experience: Prior experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG), preferably in a sales support, sales coordination, or customer service role.
  • Strong analytical skills: Ability to organize, collect, and format data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: SharePoint, Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.); PowerPoint proficiency for presentations.
  • Excellent communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders professionally.
  • Attention to detail: Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset: Proactive in identifying challenges and presenting solutions.
  • Team-oriented: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • Highly organized: Strong ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced industry.

You Are Best Suited for the Role If You Have:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a sales coordination or sales support role within the CPG industry.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with retailer portals (e.g., Loblaw, Walmart, Costco) and data sources such as Nielsen or IRI.
  • A passion for healthy food and a commitment to supporting a growing brand.
