Senior Project Manager to lead the migration from legacy Peoplesoft to Oracle Fusion

Must Haves:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in project management and scrum in a software development environment managing medium to large sized projects
  • End to end Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Implementations and specific experience with Oracle Fusion HR, Finance, EPM, Procurement and/or technical functional domain areas required
  • Experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.


Nice to have:

  • Experience migrating from legacy Peoplesoft to Oracle Fusion


Resource Responsibilities

  • Working within a larger ERP program, manage a medium to large project
  • Manage project activities throughout the project lifecycle, including defining scope, goals, deliverables in collaboration with IT partners and Business stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute project plans as well as other project documents and project related communication
  • Maximize the value created by the project team by ensuring focus and flow, removing impediments, escalating blockers and managing dependencies with other teams in the organization.
  • Work with project stakeholders to ensure that goals are understood by everyone, manage the backlog, create Stories and Acceptance Criteria, sequence items to maximize value delivery
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including iteration planning, retrospectives, standups
  • Work with a sense of urgency and demonstrate leadership skills to achieve high performance and excellent service
  • Identify, manage and help mitigate project risks and issues
  • Lead cross functional teams to deliver on diverse IT commitments / deliverables
  • Facilitate and/or participate in technical discussions while effectively building relationships and influencing decisions
  • Work and negotiate with a variety of business stakeholders and vendors
  • Prepare/edit comprehensive project reports, and other documents with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
