Lead, Mentor & Drive Excellence in Heavy-Duty Truck Service

Altruck International Truck Centres is looking for a 310T Lead Hand Technician to oversee and support our team of skilled technicians. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with leadership skills and hands-on technical expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty trucks. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

Supervise & Support Technicians – Provide guidance, training, and troubleshooting support to ensure efficient, high-quality repairs.

Ensure Quality & Efficiency – Oversee and inspect completed work, ensuring it meets company and manufacturer standards.

Perform Advanced Diagnostics & Repairs – Address complex mechanical and technical issues using the latest diagnostic tools.

Maintain Workflow & Communication – Keep detailed notes on repairs, customer requests, and shift updates to ensure seamless operations.

Train & Mentor Apprentices – Share technical knowledge and best practices to develop the next generation of skilled technicians.

Oversee Shop Safety & Cleanliness – Ensure all technicians follow safety procedures and maintain a tidy work environment.

Customer & Internal Support – Assist the Sales & Parts departments with technical service needs and customer inquiries.

Stay Current with Training – Attend manufacturer training courses, service updates, and internal development programs.

What You Bring (Requirements & Qualifications)

310T or 310S Certification (Required)

Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record

5+ years of experience in truck or automotive repair (preferred)

Ability to lead, train, and mentor a team

Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills

Proficiency with computerized diagnostic tools

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities

Must have necessary hand tools
