Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Concrete Supervisor to oversee and manage concrete construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will lead crews, ensure quality workmanship, and maintain project schedules while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Toe walls, decorative high walls, retaining walls
  • Skateboard parks and water play.
  • Very good understanding of drawings, can read and implement re-bar in every step of the way etc…

Team Leadership & Supervision:

  • Manage and supervise concrete crews, ensuring efficient and high-quality work.
  • Assign tasks, set daily goals, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members to ensure adherence to best practices.

Concrete Work & Quality Control:

  • Oversee the mixing, pouring, finishing, and curing of concrete.
  • Ensure proper use of forms, rebar, and other reinforcement materials.
  • Inspect work to ensure compliance with specifications, blueprints, and safety regulations.

Project Coordination & Scheduling:

  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other supervisors to align schedules and resources.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and equipment usage to prevent delays.
  • Monitor weather conditions and adjust schedules as necessary.

Safety & Compliance:

  • Enforce job site safety protocols and regulations.
  • Conduct safety meetings and ensure workers use proper protective equipment.
  • Identify and address potential hazards, reporting incidents as required.

Equipment & Resource Management:

  • Ensure proper maintenance and use of concrete tools and equipment.
  • Manage inventory of materials and supplies, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (trade school or relevant certification preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete work, with 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete materials, finishing techniques, and construction processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
