As an Accountant, Privately Held Business Group your responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing deep client relationships by working closely with clients and providing exceptional client service.
  2. Providing solutions to our clients on current business and financial issues.
  3. Building our reputation as the preferred business advisors in our growing practice.
  4. Working with clients across different industries and sectors.
  5. Providing accounting services, including planning and executing review and compilation engagement, drafting of financial statements, financial analysis, bookkeeping and assistance with payroll and HST calculations.
  6. Completion of personal and corporate tax returns and responding to related CRA requests for information.

  1. At least 2-3 years’ experience in public accounting or related industry.
  2. Superior technical expertise in both accounting and tax.
  3. Commitment to quality, excellence and continual professional growth for yourself and for those you manage.
  4. Demonstrated success in business development, advisory and team management.
  5. Strong management skills, especially in areas of scheduling, organizing, supervising and multi-team managing.
  6. Self-motivated, results-oriented multi-tasker who works equally well independently and collaboratively.
