Canadian Helicopters has operated rotary wing since 1947 and is Canada’s largest helicopter operator with 25 locations across the country and a fleet of nearly 100 single and multi-engine aircraft.

Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this position requires individuals who are organized and self-starters. Duties include performing aircraft maintenance, organizing, and housekeeping of the hangar facility. The position involves shift work including days, evenings, weekends, and an on-call rotation.

Canadian Helicopters is currently seeking Rotary Wing Aircraft Maintainers (AME’s and Apprentices) for fixed base work in Southport, Manitoba.

Qualifications

  1. Hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 rated AME license;
  2. Hold or have previously held ACA on the Bell 206, or;
  3. Hold or have previously held Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) on the Bell 412;
  4. Hold or have previously held Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) on the Bell 212 (an asset).
  5. Preference given to those with twin engine IFR experience;
  6. Be customer-focused and a team player;
  7. Have good communication skills and a positive attitude;
  8. Be able to obtain access to controlled goods approval.
