We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantitative Trader to join our trading team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quantitative trading strategies to enhance the profitability of our trading operations. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, strong quantitative and programming skills, and a passion for cryptocurrencies.



Responsibilities:


  • Be rigorous and creative, collaborate with team members to conduct strategy research, practice modelling and backtesting, interpret and report the research outcomes, develop and deploy production trading algorithms
  • Research focus on both risk management and alpha generation as a market maker (dealer)
  • Monitor strategy performance and risk metrics, respond to changing market conditions, react to exceptional Order flow patterns, define and act on alerts
  • Develop a deep understanding of market microstructure, crypto industry trends and sentiments, post-trade analysis, and our trading system to improve decision making process, ultimately, enhance the strategy performance
  • Work with the development team to refine and customize systems for efficient strategy implementation and iteration


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM program
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in advanced quantitative research and algorithmic trading, prior exposure to cryptocurrency market is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of mathematical and quantitative methods related to market maker perspective position and execution management
  • Proficiency in Python, experience with Linux
  • Effective problem-solving skills, able to keep the big picture in mind
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, with excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts clearly and efficiently
  • Strong prioritization abilities, demonstrated self-starter with the can-do attitude
  • Bilingualism (Mandarin) is a significant asset
