Aquanow, a leading infrastructure and liquidity provider that enables institutional and enterprise use-cases for digital assets, is looking for a Senior SDET or QA Engineer to join our technology team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced team and contribute to the development of a high-growth trading and technology company. In this position, you will lead the design and implementation of improved QA processes and take an active role in leading and shaping the team. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the team engineering manager and product owner to analyze new requirements and assess testing feasibility before changes enter the pipeline
  • Build and maintain a well-documented suite of high-quality automated and manual tests and ensure visibility to product stakeholders
  • Perform periodic test coverage audits and coordinate with management to introduce automation tasks in the development lifecycle
  • Manage testing for each software release, working with other team QA specialists to ensure everything is properly tested before signing off
  • Provide mentorship for other members of the QA team and train developers in QA/testing activities as needed
  • Work with management and the company QA chapter to determine the needs of the team and assist in new hiring


Basic Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with experience in an SDET or QAE role
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with software testing across multiple domains - frontend, backend, performance & security testing
  • Creative, independent, self-motivated and quick to learn new technologies


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a Senior QA or QA Lead role
  • Experience with Agile workflow - working with product owners defining, and refining user stories
  • Experience or interest in BDD methodology
  • Comfortable programming in Javascript/NodeJS environment
  • Experience with web automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright)
  • Knowledge of QA workflow automation tooling, such as GitHub actions, CI/CD systems
  • Background in digital payment/financial industry and/or interest in cryptocurrency / decentralized finance
