SUPERVISOR

CHALLENGE – ACTION – LEADERSHIP – OUTSIDE WORK

The Supervisor is a full member of the marine terminal management team. He manages the loading and unloading operations of the vessels, while overseeing the handling of our customers’ cargo.

DAILY YOU WILL:

  • Plan manpower, lifting, and heavy equipment (forklifts, wheel loaders, etc.) requirements for operations according to the established sequence;
  • Assign tasks and manage a team of approximately twenty longshoremen (day labourers and machine operators).
  • Coordinate operations and promote teamwork in a spirit of mutual support and quality service;
  • Enforce standard operating procedures, and safety and environmental standards;
  • Monitor operations performance indicators using state of the art technology.

  • Are available to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends and night shifts.
  • Can speak in French and English and understand written English.
