The Position

We are looking for a User Experience Expert with a strong background in both UX Design, UX Research, and/or Service Design. You are responsible for creating, leading and implementing the UX strategy for large complex solutions, or across many interrelated solutions to ensure we are providing a functional, usable, and enjoyable experience for users that will achieve the desired business outcomes.

The Opportunity:

  • Provide guidance in user needs-based design, design research, design thinking, and service design to senior stakeholders and product owners.

  • Leverage your UX skills to drive our Product roadmaps and lifecycles by completing UX audits, conducting user research, and conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products that lead to intuitive user experiences

  • Ensure design consistency and integrity across products and projects, and advocate for usage of Design Systems as appropriate

  • Stays on top of new trends in usability, accessibility, UX design, UX Research and/or Service Design, and mentors colleagues on these topics.

  • Be our HCD ambassador to the Madrid site. We want you to help co-create our HCD strategy with your globally dispersed colleagues, and drive awareness and share your expertise on how Human Centered Design can improve our products and solutions to the employees and leaders based in Madrid.

Additionally, you bring the following:

  • Six or more years of UX design experience, with at least two years of experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.

  • Expertise in standard UX software, preferably Figma

  • Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet business needs and vision

  • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design

  • Expert in user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns

  • Knowledge of a variety of workshop methods (e.g. Design Thinking, Design Sprint, Customer Journey Mapping)

  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients, including senior leaders

  • A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking and the ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications

  • Excellent soft skills typically required as a UX Lead (i.e.: active listening, challenging the status quo, strong communication skills, coaching, adopting communication style to the recipient) and an English C1/C2 level.
