Reporting to the Accounting Team Lead, the Woodlands Accountant is responsible for managing financial procedures and systems related to all accounting functions of the Woodlands Department, as well as other finance/accountant duties as required.

• Processing information related to Woodlands production, contractor pay, accounts payable, and miscellaneous accounts receivable;
• Preparing monthly financial reports and account reconciliations;
• Spearheading the preparation of the annual Woodlands budget;
• Completing audit and tax working paper assistance as required;
• Administrative tasks related to the Woodlands operations.

• Post-Secondary Business Program with an Accounting focus;
• Currently enrolled in the CPA program, working towards their designation;
• Minimum of three years accounting experience required;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs - Intermediate level in Excel is required;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to produce accurate work;
• Demonstrated planning and organizational skills; detail-oriented; diligent;
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
